Biography

Began career at Steve Jobs’ NeXT Computer in 1992.

Joined Trilobyte Software as Senior Producer in 1994. Shipped, “The 11th Hour”, the award-winning sequel to “The 7th Guest”, one of the top selling CD-ROM games of all time.

Joined Xatrix Entertainment, in early 1996 and produced a number of hits including the award winning “Redneck Rampage”, named Rolling Stone Magazine’s “Hottest Game of 1997” its sequel, “Redneck Rampage Rides Again”, “Quake II: The Reckoning”, “Redneck Deer Huntin’” and the urban gangster game “Kingpin”.

In 1999, along with Xatrix team members, founded Gray Matter Studios, Inc. and signed a long-term multi-title development deal with Activision Studios. While at the helm of Gray Matter, produced and shipped the award-winning and best selling PC game “Return to Castle Wolfenstein”, the largest and most successful PC game launch in the history of Activision.

Based on the success of “Return to Castle Wolfenstein”, awarded “Game of the Year” by the Academy of Interactive Arts and Sciences, Activision acquired Gray Matter Studios in late 2001.

Recruited by the 20th Century Fox Film Corporation and soon became their Vice President of Product Development. While at Fox, served as Executive Producer on a number of titles including, “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” and “The Simpsons Hit and Run” which to date has sold over 7 million copies worldwide.

Continued to oversee all of 20th Century Fox’s flagship titles when the group merged with Vivendi Universal Games in 2003.

In 2006, successfully re-invented the “Spyro the Dragon” franchise nominated for “Game of the Year” from the Academy of Interactive Arts and Sciences and in the same year was personally named by The British Academy of Film and Television for “Ice Age: The Meltdown” nominated for “Children’s Game of the Year”.

In the fall of 2007, produced and shipped the undisputed strategy game of the year, “World in Conflict” which was awarded “Best of 2007” by over 30 publications.
