Kingpin Starter v1.0
Kingpin Starter v1.0 is created by combining:
- Kingpin Demo
- Kingpin 1.21 Patch
- The MH Kingpin Patch
- A few manual changes
For best experience buy the full version of Kingpin:
You can play online with this starter, but it does not include single player.
Kingpin Starter Instructions diy (do it yourself)
For best experience buy the full version of Kingpin.
You can play online with this but you do need to connect to a server to download the rest.
1. Download Kingpin Demo and install it.
2. Download Kingpin 1.21 Patch and overwrite the files in Kingpin Demo you just installed.
3. Download the last mh's Kingpin Patch (you need atleast v12) and install in your Kingpin Demo folder you just installed.
4. Download and install Democreate.zip into youre Kingpin Demo folder you just installed. Run Democreate.bat. (You can see in notepad what the bat & sp1 files does).
5. Get font_conchars
Create a font with font_conchars_high.exe -> conchars_high_11x11.tga
Create a font with font_conchars.exe -> conchars3.tga or copy conchars.tga to conchars3.tga
Extracted them in the main\pic\ folder.
or get a conchars.zip from addon.
Recommend fixes
That's all to play some Kingpin Multiplayer but it's recommend to adjust some files.
1. main\sprites\muzzhmg.tga Best to make sprite abit smaller or install muzzhmg.tga.
2. If you want more closer orginale menu sounds install menusound.zip. Orginale Kingpin demo files where altered to make it look more like orginale.
3. Replace demo logo with Kingpin.info logo install
